"I never believed I’d be able to stick with intermittent fasting. I still miss “breakfast” some days, but that’s as much out of habit as it is hunger. The fasting has also helped me to know that I don’t have to satisfy hunger right away with food. "Before participating in TRIM I have always eaten relatively healthy and my workouts basically always consisted of hard cardio with light weight resistance occasionally. I was so frustrated though because I was busting it in the gym and the stubborn pounds were NOT going anywhere which was so discouraging! “Oh.. the moment of truth. I remember the day I took he picture on the left. Kind of hard to believe that was what I really looked like. It was a hard pill to swallow. I knew I had put weight back on over the years since my marathon training but would never really own up to it. My eating habits were not good but I was killing it on the cardio running 3-5 miles around four times a week. But that wasn’t cutting it. I was counting calories but was never really putting forth the effort in learning about kind of calories I was actually putting into my body. I had never tracked macros before and honestly didn’t even know what they were. There was no structured eating schedule and eating out on the weekends eventually turned into eating out all of the time. After successfully finishing my first 7 weeks of “starting over” I’ve never felt so clean and energized and “simply alive.” Since signing up for the program back on June 18th with Valerie.. "After reading about TRIM Boot Camp from friends and bloggers over the past year, I finally bit the bullet and signed up and I am SO thankful I did! I was hesitant at first, because I LOVE to eat and the thought of fasting was was down right scary! But, after the initial adjustment, it was not nearly as bad as I anticipated! I was a fairly clean eater before, but TRIM has helped me correctly proportion the foods I eat. "After having my third baby, I was stuck in a rut where I couldn’t get into a routine of exercising again. I have always been an active person and loved going to group fitness classes, but I was struggling to find the time to get to classes between work and 3 young kids. I worried about jumping right into TRIM when my body was still recovering from having a baby and I was breastfeeding, so it was perfect timing that SmoFitness lauched SmoBaby. It was appealing that the group would be all moms and that there were different programs for the type of delivery you experienced, as well as whether or not you were breastfeeding. I participated in the first round and was hooked from the beginning. I loved having a group of ladies in the Facebook group who were also going through the program and were also new moms. We shared tips, encouraged each other and started seeing results. After the SmoBaby program I had lost about 15 pounds and several inches (mostly off my waist and stomach) and my pre-baby clothes started to fit again. I also had more energy, better digestion and just felt healthier and stronger. After completing the round, I decided I was feeling strong enough to try TRIM, along with a few other moms in the group. I jumped right into prep week and the transition was so easy. After finishing one round I had increased my weight loss to 20 pounds and several more inches. "I got married in November of 2016, leading up to that I had been “dieting” and working out and not getting very good results and I remember getting my wedding photos back and feeling really disappointed in myself that I didn’t love the way I looked in my wedding photos and just really feeling down on myself.
